I just got a "new to me" new transmission last weekend after my previous one crapping out on me.

I DIDN"T GET TO BREAK IT!!!!!!

Jaon, I know what you meen, but I have to get to work somehow. I think Im going to flush out the old fluid and put some new fluid in untill I can get my new trans in. A buddy of mine found a used one for free so looks like Ill be going that route. A free working trans is better than selling my left nut for a built trans.

I got a couple of video's of me barkin all 4 gears at the track. I just gotta get my friend to put them onto the computer.

I can chrip tires in 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th gear with Nitto DRs on track or street , now that is what I talkin about

Earnie, watch that powershifting. It only took about a month after I started powershifting for 3rd gear to go.

That just means you have a good clutch. That King Cobra grabs hard!

Thats why my 3rd gear died. I could powershift all day with the stock 100k clutch which still had aobut 30,000 left on it . Previous owner babied the car. The king cobra ate my 3rd gear up hardcore.

I have about 50-100 2-3 powershifts on my car with my King Cobra clutch. It's like driving a time bomb....

I added a Spec clutch 3 months ago and my T5 broke in 2nd gear powershifting after 1 month.
Spec is an awesome clutch and now with the Tremec it nothing but confidence banging the gearbox!
I felt the same way though after breaking the tranny...excited.

How about this , I bought my Stang in February 03 , in May 03 I installed 1st King Cobra clutch because relese bearing in old heavy duty clutch was bad , than in January 04 I change with 2nd King Cobra clutch because I rebuild tranny and I have rear main oil lean, and now I have 2000 miles on this King Cobra clutch
