My 94 mustang gt is starting to get a little weaker since i have been driving it hard for the past couple of months. I am getting used to the power and need a little more hp to suit my needs. I dont want to put gears in right now because i do alot of highway driving and i drive 80 all the time and i dont want my gas mileage to drop. I was wondering if my car would hold up to a small shot of nos, maybe 50 or 75. Or i was wondering how much a good chip would be, how much hp and torque it would add, and is there a way to like a tuner with presets so i can go with like a stock tune one minute, then when i line up to race the locals, push a button and have more power. I like the idea of more power at the push of the button.

Someone is watching Fast and the Furious too much. To have the tuner with different presets you would have to purchase the tweecer. www.tweecer.com is the website for it. Very good quality product. The car should hold up fine. I don't know why your car is getting weaker but I would definitely try and find out. I drive my car hard as hell and it has 120k miles on it and still runs strong.

Thanks..... I guess

I thought there were many different chips that had multiple tunes. I have heard of people putting a tune for unleaded gas, then a seperate tune for Premium gas. If I knew you guys would be dick heads about it I wouldnt have asked you anything

No one is being a "dickhead", they're informing you of information.

You asked if there was a tuner, it's called a tweecer, although buying one for a stock car would be pointless because most people "tune" their car to change settings for mods they added, etc.

You can't just have a stock tune and a race tune without adding any mods to "tune" your car too. There isn't a magical chip that gives you horsepower, you must add mods such as heads, cam, intake, gears, etc, and then tune your car to get the most from these modifications.

Also, there are 1000's of threads about nitrous oxide within stangnet and on google, use the "search this forum" feature, trust me you'll find a lot of information.

Good luck, hope im not being a "dickhead".

Nobody is rippin you. You just have to get used to these guys. They are pretty tight in here. They all know each other pretty well for the most part it seems. Most of the time, they will go out of there way to help you find an answer to a question.

As said, mods=power / mods+tune = MORE POWER + longer engine life IMO

A chip might give you 5-7RWHP. I was lucky and got 8rwhp out of my Cobra with a superchip(Stock). Not really worth all the cash IMO.

Just give the guys some time to get used to you being here, and don't take questionable comments as bashing. As far as nitrous, as long as the install is good, and you have no detonation probs, or severe lean conditions, you should be fine. My old GT went over 100k with me, 20 bottles of juice(75 shot), and from what I here, she is over 120k and still goin strong.......
