Ok well i dropped my mustang with sportlines i got about a 1 finger gap in the rear... will i be able to fit 315/35/17s under the back with out my fenders cutting the **** out of them... i think they will stick out a bit.... and im not sure my car can handle it... i got a good deal on a set of cobra r's that i dont wanna pass up.... but i got less then a 2 finger gap.... how much room willl that 10 less aspect ratio give me...

the rear looks like this maybe a tad lower since it settled....

Get them. My car is maybe a litlte lower than yours and Ive never had any rubbing problems.
Mine dont stick out at all. But they are flush with the inside part of the panel

my sportlines were not made for verts they are coupe springs...
How much did it lower your car?
Im pretty sure the extra 200 or so pounds being a vert will drop it THAT much more.

But Im positive you will be safe with the 315's. I am VERY low and I have no trouble at all.

as long as they fit in the fender thats all that i want! im picking these up... $420 good for a set of Chrome cobra R's 17x9 and 17x10.5's with tires less then 3k on the tires....

Quick photoshop... What you think???

mines got 315 nitto drags on sportlines, and i dont have any problems...i did beat in the inner fender slightly, but only because it was rubbing ever so slightly when i would take a turn fast...otherwise, the agressiveness of this tire/spring combo is awesome!

Looks good.

But the back will be deep dish right?

Like mine

You should see about getting them stripped and powdercoated black. That would look badass on a red car.

No I mean they dont make 10.5 in '95 Cobra R's with out the lip, but they can make the w/o the lip on '03 Cobra's

Trust me, they will fit fine and look awesome

The dish PWNS all

It depends what tires you run. Nitto DR's are small for 315's, so they should fit pretty good. I have Goodyear F1 GS-D3's and they rub a lot. I wanted the fenders rolled, but the guy that painted my car just took a grinder to them instead. I got rear ended a month ago and pushed off the road and this is what happened

That is NOT true! They do in fact make 10.5's without the deep dish. The '95 cobra R without the lip was the FIRST 10.5" wheel readily available for our cars. AFS had made them for years. The "lipped" cobra R's are the new kid on the block so to speak when it comes to 10.5" wheels.

I run 17X10.5" wheels with 315's on my 'vert, but it is not lowered. Do a search for slow50 or Ernan as his 'vert is the same color as yours with the wheels you are planning to get. I think he has 315's too.

thanks... wow its amazing what i have been able to pick up in the last month for this car... should be in the 13's realllly soon

What mods do you have and think that will put you into the 13's? I've done it so I know what it takes and can help you if you'd like. I haven't been on much lately and therefore am not familiar with your plans.
