maybe i'm seeing things.. but how big is that spacer between your upper and lower intake??? it looks like it might be 5 inches tall hahaa

anyway, keep up the good work, and keep us posted!

Nice work on the engine bay.

the tilt hood and gas tank isnt really for me, but its something different, and its getting harder and harder to make these cars unique, so props for that.

just hope that gas tank modification dosent turn you mustang into a pinto

Wikipedia said:
Through early production of the model, it became a focus of a major scandal when it was alleged that the car's design allowed its fuel tank to be easily damaged in the event of a rear-end collision which sometimes resulted in deadly fires and explosions

it was a joke

it was a joke

haha, my dad had a pinto as a teenager and explained to me that, in the event of a collision, the pinto's rear bumper had two bolts protruding from it that would puncture the gas tank that was seated very close by, the leaking gas would ignite when it hit the hot exhaust, resulting in a fire... needless to say my grandpa and him fixed that little problem before he was allowed to drive it around town :rlaugh:

anyway, back on topic... the motor looks awesome, it looks like you have a lot of time into polishing all of that aluminum, i can't wait to see this thing painted up!!

I thought so....LOL. JUst that a lot of people have been telling me about my gas tank..I don't see nothing wrong with it, it basically has a flexible filler neck, and has an external pump, double coated.....but anyways ,thanks. hopefully I post some pictures tonight, I want to see If I can get away from "QUALITY TIME"..:D

Yeah dude. Its fine. It's just as safe as it would be normally, besides that it's a badass modification and unique. I know how good it feels to do something not only unique, but yourself.
,

I thought so ,I couldn't find one thing that can go wrong with that set up. Its even safer than when I had it in my trunk, I use to be able to smell my fumes when I spilled my gas or when the tank was venting, but now its outside and won't be able to smell the fumes or spilled gas.
