Tuning with ElmScan?

I have the ElmScan tool and software for reading codes and even datalogging on my 97 GT using the laptop, but I was wondering if there is any software available to do tuning. It would be great to add a few degrees of timing and take out a little fuel on the top end.

So is there any software available for programming/tuning using the ElmScan tool?

If there is nothing available to tune using that, what is the cheapest and easiest way to start tuning on my own? I mean real turning. Not answering yes or no questions in a pre-set box.

I knew tweeker was common for my 88 mustang, using that old EEC-IV, but I didn't think it worked on OBD-II like my 97 has.

Hmm, do I need to buy anything extra to program both my 97 and 88?

It started out that way because, if I recall, Tweecer was started in the pre-OBD-II days and cut its teeth on service-port adapters for the EEC-IV cars.

Click on "Products" on their website and you'll 96-04 Mustangs, Machs and Cobras listed. I can't vouch for them or their software, just letting you know they're there.
