I hate winter, with every fiber of my being. But, since I can't/won't move (in Northern IN), it doesn't do any good to bitch about it, so I just have to deal with it.
That said, the car's been relocated to it's winter hibernation cave (heated bay at my father's house).
I got 880 fun miles with it this year, now I just have to wait 6-7 months to have a romp.
The Explorer really doesn't help much in that department.
Anyone else lock away the toy for the winter? If so, what do you do to winterize it?
Mine's parked in a garage that's heated to about 50º, so freezing isn't an issue. But I did the Sta-bil thing anyway, figured it couldn't hurt.

My Mustang is a run of the mill, slow '98 laser red coupe that was bought to be driven and gets 5-6mpg better than my Jeep. I currently live in upstate NY, and drive to see my girlfriend in Massachusetts every weekend (250mi round trip). I got the Mustang to make the travel a little more enjoyable, and it's worked out well 
Since I can only have one car at my apartment, I'll just bring out the Jeep in the next few weeks or so
i put it up on jackstands and take my rear tires inside cause nitto says they shouldnt get cold. 
i take all the air out of the tires cause it helps keep them from ever wanting to crack. i put stabil in the fuel but only have a little over a quarter tank because i like to put a lot of new fuel in it in the spring. also take the battery out and keep it in my basement on a trickle charger. oh and she gets a good cleaning before her nap
