Winter projects

Thanks guys. It still has some issues w/hot starts but other than that it's driving and feeling great. Just got to continue messing around to figure that out as time goes on. Thankfully I only drive it to shows or on a cruise so I'm not usually out and about, shutting it down and starting it up over and over. Felt nice to get that maiden voyage (and return) out of the way, that's for sure!

Thread from the dead, but I figured I'd just reply here instead of making a new one. Gathered some pics from various car shows this year showing off some of the new stuff:

This one is the only picture I have w/the hood down. I just realized I never take them because I usually shut the hood from a show and take off, then back to the garage it goes. After this show, a bunch of us spent a few minutes taking pics w/our awards so I ended up w/this one. Anyway the gap at the rear edge of the hood, as mentioned earlier in this thread, was closed up with some fiberglass work. Looks awesome. While we were we took care of fitting the hood better all around.

I have a question though Dave... How does the console look where it meets the dash? I'd be worried that it doesn't 'flow' well and that the gloss of the console clashes with the matte textured look of the dash.

I was worried about that before it all went back together too. I may paint the lower pieces of the dash at some point but it doesn't bother me right now. Maybe this pic helps:
