I have PS,PB and AC. sean hyland PS bracket and pump. hydroboost and custom lines. I can break it all down for you, just ask... Ill keep checking back Have some easy tricks for the brake pedal scenario etc...

@89oem im going to check out the power steering pump location that you have . I have to see if the pulley system will be in the way of the belt in the case I went supercharged. I cannot remember exactly where I saw that they were installing a Roush SC and they had to trim some threaded parts off the front cover of the engine. I was looking at the Yates accessory kit but seems very pricey. I may go that route but again the Yates kit has the PS pump right in the front.

So just an update guys. I put my Trans and engine together and test for it. Good news is I didn't have to cut up my trans tunnel ...... That much. No extreme mods going to happen there. I had to cut the top part of the core support for easier install with the engine and trans complete. Which is ok I'll be making it a bolt on piece from now on. I also started installing the Morris Unicrossmember and the issue I'm having with this is the TCP x-brace I have is attached to the location that the crossmember goes too . So I have limited amount of room I can slide the crossmember . It's not THaT big of a deal BUT the crossmember touches very Little on the tranny. I hope this won't cause vibrations transferring over to me in the car. I'll have to figure something out. I'll get a picture as soon as I can so I can get some imput on what I'm talking about.

I used the Stiffler cross brace for the trans... Im a Fox though.. so my MM subframes run straight no X, Scott @RacEoHolic330 runs same I think... the PS pump mounts to the holes on the passenger cover plate and is reversed it also runs its own belt. Ill take some pics tomorrow for you ... Roush or VMP Im just jealous... what T56 you running wide or narrow ratio? Magnum Im sure.... what rear gear you thinking?

Here is the link of what I was talking about .

If you see they had to modify the front engine cover because of the supercharger belt. If I got the same pump you did does it look like I would have to do this process? Your pics will be appreciated here

As for the Trans I have wide ratio. And yup it's a magnum. As for gears I have not changed them but I might leave the ones I had . I have 3.73 if I recall correctly.

I'm not gonna go with a Roush or Vmp but if I do decide to go supercharged I'll be going with a kenne bell or whipple. Or twin Turbos!!

I do have one concern about adding this much power and my concern is where the trans crossmember bolts to the Torque boxes ..... If that's what they are called. I plan to have around 700HP to the crank . I wonder if those will hold.

And lastly is there anyone that is watching this thread with the same set up? As in a classic mustang with a coyote engine? Or am I in the wrong section. I was not sure wen I started this thread where to go since I have a 2016 engine and a 67 stang. You can see how I was confused what section to choose.

I would probably leave the 3.73 gears in there with the wide ratio. I had 3.27 gears before my T56 swap, and they are honestly a little too tall with the magnum. The car doesn't like leaving off the clutch pedal without touching the gas. I'll probably be swapping to 3.55s over the winter to make low speed cruising a little less work.

Im running the wide ratio too, have 4.10 rear and like it. perfect highway cruising in 6th. 1st is a little quick but these engines are happy up to 7k rpm .... 3 -4 is also perfect around town 3.73 should be good

Heres Tremec gear calc, but like Scott said you should be fine

Theres a coyote fox with a DS1 in our club at same HP, Ive seen a gen 1 with a coyote but no boost...

Best I can tell the sean hyland PS bracket uses those some mounting points ....so that wouldnt work

Power by the hour flips the Alt. and same points, Ford racing wont allow AC iirc Vintage Air has a nice set up too, but same issue ?

Maybe just go DS1 since it mounts on the drivers side.... @TOOLOW91 put turbo(s) on his buddy's car and @84Ttop is a master of coyote boost, he could shine some light for you too

Guys I'm curious if any of you would kno......... I have the Ron Morris crossmember and it bolts to the floor supports. I have plans to go around 700hp . Will these floor supports be able to handle that much torque?

That Ford bracket is pretty popular, but I cant answer your question accurately. Call Ford racing (FRPP).
They were super helpful on my build - they are wanting the coyote swaps to really successful, they could probably answer your crossmember question too, let us know what they say

I called 1800 fordSVT not sure if it's the same people @89oem ? These guys told me that the bolts that go to the block are 8mm x 1.25 thread. They also told me the ones for the Pump to the bracket should be the same but I very much think NOT as they clearly need to be longer. But I think that won't be to hard to figure out. As of now I'm looking for a good Reman- power steering pump . Any one have suggestion? I have found plenty but It would be ideal if I get one that someone had first hand experience with. I bought a rack before that was reman and it failed soo....

As for the floor support mounting location for trans crossmember . I talked to modern Driveline which by the way are good people to do business with! They are extremely helpful and I would recommend them. I digress ..... They said The Trans mount is for rotational torque and stability.
The body will twist before you see issues with the mount or crossmember.
Definitely recommend sub-frame connectors if you don't already have them.
Biggest thing is to make sure all bolts are torqued properly. also the motor mounts are going to limit twist as well. I assume.

What headers did you guys use? And do they work with a QuickTime bellhousing? With a T-56 mag. I was going to purchase the Dougs headers then I read a review on summit and a guy there had issues with my same set up. So I need pointers plz

I wonder how much of a differemce it would make . A stock bell v steel QuickTime . I had BBKs before and I liked them.

I must ad I'm definetly going for long tubes.

I don't think you'll have any issue . From what I've seen they are the best fitting swap headers so far .

I run a QT bell, BBK LT for coyote, 3" Bbk X w/cats, Dynomax ultrafows 2.5" SS tails
We custom fit the 3" X pipe to the muffler by changing the lead side muffler knuckle connection to 3" Works great.

The BBK LT are tight around the QT Bell, Mount the bell before the headers and install setup into car as a unit. It was a bear getting it on after and we had to basically unbolt the headers to fit the bell in.

In a fox engine bay there wasnt much room to play....

The sound is freaking perfect!!

@89oem do you have a part number for those bbks? And I'm assuming the collectors are 3" ?simce u have 3" pipping . I was looking at a set of bbks but it seems like they come with some other bolts so I'm not sure if I'm suppose to remove the threaded studs on the engine now.. Also thanks for letting me know to install them the way you did. Save me a headache. I should have enough room in there to install the motor/trans and headers all intact . I had to cut the top part of my radiator core support to do so but man is it a easier install this way.

Last night I started to make a template for the sheet metal I needed for my firewall. I started to cut it with a die grinder with hopes it would cut it decently and I didn't like the way it started to come out. So I took out the tin snips . Didn't like it either. I'll be taking it to the metal shop where I bought it to have it trimmed .
