I could see you running a shop...everyone's shirt would say " Dave "...yours would say " Super Dave ".

Your employees would be like finger tips...

Have you ever had a birthday and didn't eat the cake ?...see...you can have your cake and eat it, too.

The problem is that most of them would want to be the middle finger tip.

I picked a name for my shop a long time ago if I were to have one, it would be called Andy's Mustang.

Oh wait.. No I can't.

Please continue.

Dave, would you consider becoming YouTube famous?
Now hear me out-lol-if you did a diy/how to video every other week in what ever thing you are doing to roby. Post it on YouTube . Then link it here where we all could share. Eventually your show would pick up steam. And after enough views/hits- YouTube would allow advertisers to play commercials on your episodes-more videos-more subscribers-more commercials-more roby money :-)

Also-sorry for being late to the party . Changing cell providers and home internet providers-old set up is long gone. Still waiting on the new guys to show up :-(

Is the crossmember on my blue car the same as the GT model?

I'm getting an '86 5.0 and T5 given to me, kind of pushes me towards making the blue car sound like it should.

I guess I need to start researching the computer and wiring harness for fuel injection.

It's amazing how many little things you need to swap up.

I know @95BlueStallion and @Chuckman graciously offered me a 5.0 and crossmember, but I will get these parts locally and I would hate for you guys to need to travel to give me something.

I think I can get an 8.8 rear for next to nothing. I've still got the new FRPP differential I was going to use in the red car.

It's an 83. Don't be afraid to carb.

If boost is on the list down the road, then FI is where it's at.
True, but a good carb system costs just as much as an efi system. That is if I find a computer and wiring harness on the cheap.

If i'm going to settle for a 5.0, then it will see a nice supercharger one day.

Let me know your plans Dave. I have an a9l 30lb injectors lightning maf and chip to tie it all together. Also have that Parker funnel web intake I drilled for injectors that needs a home. If you don't want any of it I will post it up in the classifieds, but if you need any of it pm me I'll get you setup.... oh I also have a 190lph fuel pump..... and other stuff.

Thanks Steve, I got some figuring to do, I might already have an A9L in my junk pile. Fact is, I'm pretty sure of it.

I'd like to go with an aftermarket computer system, but funding says:notnice::nono:.

This engine will come with the intake, 19lb injectors and engine bay wiring harness and all of the little crap in the engine bay area (sensors, etc.).

I will need the main harness behind the dash though to hook up the computer, I need to give thought to the in cabin connections that I'll be needing.

This is completely different to anything I've planned to do to this point, just need to do some brain throwing now.

Thanks a lot for the offer though, I'd love to have the MAF and 30lb injectors and fuel pump, but it will be a while before I'll be needing to upgrade to that.

Careful dave, I can feel a turbo coming on, it's kinda like a cold, first you feel pretty good, then you realize your a little anemic (6 cyl? Really?) The practitioners at stangnet tell you to take a V8 and post in the morning, thats ok for a while but you still have the blaughs, then BANG someone stops by with a box labeled 'hairdryer'.
You do have jackstands, right?
