Just use an hidden antenna if you want radio but I don’t use it anyway

All hand sanding. Combination of da and plain old sandpaper. The plastic bumper stripper doesn’t work and the good stuff will eat the urethane

Yeah that's what I figured, I recently repainted all of the urethane skirts/bumpers on my 93GT and sanded it all down.
In hind sight I was wondering if I should have used a chemical stripper, looks like I went the right rout, anyways happy sanding..lol
I’ve done it that way for 25 years. As with all bodywork, it is always better the more labor you put in it
First blocking done on the drivers fender. Few spots left to address. First block on the heat extractor hood done and ready for epoxy and more pieces pulled off ready to work
Body work done on the pass fender and ready for round 1 of epoxy. Another prime for the driver fender and first round for the hood.
Just used some sheet metal. Cut to shape and welded in. Then smoothed down and body worked from there. Same way I’ll fill the pass door lock
Thanks man. The smoother the primer the better the paint. If it sprays rough, it will create a texture that has to be sanded out or it shows when the base is sprayed. Plus when it’s slick and wet, before flashing, you can look for any slight bumps in the panelYou even make primer look good!
Looks soooo shiney, I imagine it goes flat when it dries.

Bumper stripped and first prime with some 2k flex primer.
