I picked the S-351 up in September 2016 and getting the engine bay in epoxy brings the progress to July of 2017 when I covered the car and stuck it in a corner because I bought my first mustang (a 93 notch) and first car back after having sold it 16 yrs prior. I slide it in the shop to get some work going on it upon arrival. May do a build thread for this car too. It’s pictured in my other thread.

Little early in the build For this but I decided to go ahead and fix the cracking spoiler and take it thru all the steps and throw some paint on it

How did you go about repairing the spoiler. My spoiler spacing is cracked all over and would love to get it even close to this

You just grind out the bad spots and glass them back in. If you have cracking. Take a carbide on a grinder and v a grove out following the crack. Then after the glass is cured...sand and repeat until fixed. Then a little putty and primer and prep for paint

Taking a break from body work to address some other issues into the redo. The old surface rust dash frame. The dash pad had been drilled for a huge tach which will not be used. So I sourced a NOS black dash pad. I separated the wiring from the frame and sandblasted the dash frame then powder coated it semi gloss black

Then wrapped the wiring in new tape, eliminated the unused connections and streamlined it. The mated it with the new dash pad and Saleen gauge pod and redone cluster
