Really? So now I have to backtrack because you can’t be bothered to pay attention simply because you’re working a weanie assed 80 hour week?
Panty waist.
you must’ve missed all of this then ?
No jig, No fixture of any kind except the short block on the ground, leveled, and the trans on a rollie cart, leveled at a height “ guesstimate “ for the input shaft.
The thing could be cockeyed up/down, right/left. Off by thousandths just enough to prematurely wear the rear main, or the front pump bushing out. OR, ( if i’m shooting for cataclysmic failure) completely rattle the mains out of it from excessive harmonics in a very short time. Like my buddy
@HotFox thinks.
Or..
Or by some weird fluke of luck, I got all of that sht right,....And it’ll run till I decide to change it all out for some more chevy sht.
Either way, If I have the adapter, the fully built 4l60e, the new shifter gate plate, and a converter sitting somewhere...it might not be 8 months before the thing runs again.
