Megasquirt Digital Dash

Anyone know where I have to run the wires for my DD dash for fuel level on a ms2pnp for a foxbody? Just acquired one and didn’t get the instructions for that part.
Welcome to Stangnet!

MS2PNP Fuel Level Circuit.png

Above is the wiring diagram for the fuel level sending unit. There should be a 240ohm resistor supplied with the installation kit, which is the "R" value in the diagram. To use Pin 19 (External MAP Sensor Input) as an ADC Input, you will need to open the MS2PNP ECU case, and jumper External MAP Select to ADC1. Below is a picture of the Jumper (Blue Wire) that needs to be installed.

Once wired and jumper applied, you will then be able to setup your new channel in TunerStudio for reading the resistance from the factory sending unit.

TunerStudio MS2 Setup:
- Tools -> Custom Channel Wizard

Would these instructions apply to a Pimpxs?
The PIMPXS is an MS3 based platform, so the TunerStudio setup would be different. The wiring would be the same except you will be wiring to the open ADC inputs on the stock 60-pin connector.

PIMPXS Open ADC Inputs
- Pin 50/ADC11 = External MAF (Optional, Jumper Required) JP29 Jumper 2-1
- Pin 43/ADC12 = EGO2
- Pin 26 = 5V VRef

TunerStudio MS3 Setup:
-Advanced Engine -> Generic Sensor Inputs

Is the pro the series with the canbus option to leverage existing factory sensors? If so, that's the one I'm wondering about.
The DD-EFI Pro Version is going to come with more than one option. The initial release will have an internal I/O for expanding the capabilities of the Megasquirt ECU.

We will be also releasing a standalone version that can leverage most of the factory existing sensors. In a factory setup you will need to upgrade the oil pressure to a digital version which will be offering.

So with the V3 it would connect with canbus but how does the factory wiring for fuel level, high beam etc connect to the DD EFI? ..or is that not finalized yet?
There will be an expansion connector that will be for wiring to the available 14 inputs digital/analog of which one is already dedicated to fuel level with the necessary resistor for a one wire setup to your factory wiring. The indicators (L/R turn signals, high beam, etc.) will be able to be wired as a digital inputs.

OK, tying this into my questions here, is this something that could be configured to run in my 67 (recognizing that the physical layout will need to be different). I was planning to do a Dakota Digital dash for my car, but if I can put something together that ties the MS to a digital dash, that seems like it would be the best of both worlds. I had planned to install a tablet in my console for media and GPS anyway, so that could be an alternate mounting location if it can't be made to fit the 67 dash location.

We have many options, you will just need to supply us with some dimensions and photos of the location it needs to be installed.

You have all the options above mounting it as a factory dash replacement or in an alternative location. Using a Digital Dash will provide you access to all the readings the MS sees, while also being able to tune through it if desired as well. You have options of screen sizes and universal mounting or custom bezel, so it just depends on what you would like for your project.

Scratch that, got it to connect

Install was pretty easy. I had to trim the bezel a little to clear the column, but that’s no big deal.
