1990 Wiper pivot removal?

Does anyone know how to remove the drivers side wiper pivot from the cowl?

I have the pass. side under the cowl grille off, and I have the wiper motor removed. The only part that remains is the drivers side pivot. I cannot see or feel any type of fastner that is holding it in. I.E. bolt or screw or clip.

You have to remove that black, dome shaped, plastic nut cover to access the nut that holds the pivot to the cowl.
