I wont agree that Belichick had a good foundation when he took over. What he has done to keep the team as successful as they have been for this amount of time is unbeatable.
How will you not agree? The Pats were in the Sb a year or two before BB took over
I see a point but Cowher missed the playoffs twice in 15 years. Noll had quite possibly the greatest team built through a draft with no free agents or trades. Free agency is a double edge sward. It can really help a team or bite it in the ass. Everyone says its harder with free agency. I kinda disagree. If a player wants to go to a winning team they have the chance to. It used to be if you want to go to a winning team, get better

They are in control of taking #1 seed as well, they win out, they have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Belichick ranks 5th all time of coachs w/ the best win percentage at .625. Currently hes is the #1 active coach w/ the best win percentage.
But you know he just took over a good team and he had nothing go do with it
Some of you are such sports experts
That team was well built. I never said they were not a well coached team. I'm just saying its not like BB took over a horrible team and made them great. I wouldnt mind having him as a coach but far from the greastest ever. But hes not done yet. Time will tell
When was he good in the first place? My little brother could throw for 400 yards to Moss and Welker. He has a 85 QB Rating. Fairly AVERAGE.
But back to football...
Anyone watch the Ravens potentially get hosed on that ridiculous overturn by Walt Coleman on the Holmes TD? No way that ball was in and even if it was you had no indesputable evidence to overtrun the call on the field. Granted it would have been 4th and about 2 inches but still.
I agree - crap call to turn over. I couldn't 100% tell that the ball had crossed the plane, i know his body and feet were in.
On the ensuing drive though i think they would have went for it and punched it in for a TD
At least the Bengals have smashed the hopes of more than just me.
I agree they probably would have went for it on fourth, but many a goal line stand has been stopped by the Ravens D. They deserved at least the chance to stop them.

Giants are in some serious trouble![]()
Yeah, no way that should of been overturned. i think the Ravens D would of stopped them too if they had the chance to.
Just like on that 4th and 1 when Pitt decided to go for, the Ravens D stopped them, Somehow, the line judge spotted it about a yard past the first down. Ravens challage it and lost. On the reply there was no way they should of got the first down, they clearly gained nothing![]()
