I am just trying to get something straight, please advise.

Since 2007 Mustang GT has 3.31:1 Final drive ratio and 2005 GT has 3.55:1 final ratio does it mean that 2007 is slightly slower then '05? I am sure Ford decreased the ratio for the sake of fuel economy.

yes, slightly slower, but not really noticable. 3.55s are optional for 07, so if it bothers you that much, and you dont plan on swapping gears later down the road, get the $100 option for 3.55s.

Thank you!

That's what I thought, I've driven a Focus first with 3.41 gears, 3.82 and then 4.20 and 4.55 I think.

Didn't notice much difference between 3.41 and 3.82, but 4.20 was a dramatic change in acceleration and shifting.
