Hi everyone I was priceing out tires this weekend and I was told by one of the techs that on my 07 gt with 17 inch rims on the fronts I could only put on 245's beacause the 255's would rub when turning the wheel is that true or can I put on 255's all around please let me know I want to get rid of the stock tires hopefully next weekend thank you.

its gonna be close for sure guess it depends on what suspension up front your going with as well drop it... and it probably will hit the fenders.. as far as the back goes im things about 255 40 r17 front and 275 40 r17 in the rear!!

I was gonna do 255s but its hard to find something near the same sidewall height (55). The best I've found is 255/50/17. Anything shorter would look terrible.

AGREED!
I did a set of Toyo 255/45/17's. My car looked very bad.
Tiny tires in big wheel wells.
Now I'm running a set of 245/50/17 Generals.
They fit the wheel wells the way a tire should.
