Started this thread on March 9, 2019
Here it is March again. One YR update.

Just passed 1000 miles on this engine swap.
Was making a weird power steering noise which turned out to be a loose bolt behind that big ole PS bracket.
They is all lock tighted now. Trans doesn't seem to be leaking anything ( small victory there).
Gas Tank don't leak (another small victory)
We drive it all the time and people seem to like it.
Never see any on that negativity of the 1980s that used to abound.
This car has been blessed with many new parts this year for sure.
Just love this little car.

In the next year I'm thinking;
Finish painting the damnstripe
Exhaust
Posi / gears
get the carpet in finally
Bumping tunes
getting one step closer toT5.
1.21 gigawatt Flux capacitor mod

My latest Flea buy ~ buy.
We have never had an interior light lens. Had to buy whole light to get it ($40+ with shipping ouch).
But where else ya gonna find it on this island. Wish it had an off on switch like so many modern ones.
Might half to spray dye that blue sun visor now.

Mine too! And mine is missing the lens. I don't think they're the same as the lights without the map light, but it would be awesome to be able to find one!

Yeah that is what mine looks like. Map light.. mine is complete with a good lens. It is caramel coloured so I will plastic dye it black I guess.

I think it's from an earlier Fox, probably like an early 80s? It seems like I've seen one way back when and thought the light looked like the exact same as mine. I figured they probably kept using them instead of trying to come up with something new.
