no gaskets i had were old and one was damaged.Did ya do both head gaskets?

Fair enough lol. Been a very, very long time since I’ve taken apart a flat tappet anythingI might be wrong as I've never had them out together to compare, but I'm fairly sure they wouldn't swap. I think the roller lifters are taller than standard flat tappets, so roller pushrods would be too short.
