so far i love my 3.73 i really got on them today.

Beat my friend with his 01 GT with some of his bolt ons.
i hit 110 and i had to put in 5th wtf the needle barely was moving after that
and my friend caught up with me.

I kinda wish i had my 3.27's back i was able to hit 140 with them but the 5th gear in that thing didn't even accelerate.

Anyone else with 3.73;s out there??
what about 4.10's same thing happens or what?

I got 4.10s and hit 140+ (automatic)

But its a slug from a roll...around 30mph

Thats becuase your slushbox is in second gear, and even w/4.10's, 30mph in second gear is still going to be sluggish. Now at 40mph, when your tranny is going to still downshift into 2nd, it should have a pretty nice kick to it. :D

i just move to 3.73 myself but i'm still working with the 3.27 speedo...till wenesday. i know what you meen it goes fast till end of forth, fifth rise i bit,i was good to go at 140 checking the rpm...the speed needle was stop at the end.

But since then my car feel kind of stange seem to be losing power...i will probably put it on the dyno to make sure.

at first 1 and 2 were killers but now i dont know, i'm just not sure if i'm just getting us to it.

My car is much quicker now with the 373's than with the 327's. I'm shifting into 5th at 120mph, and it screams all the way to 140 before I chicken out and let off. The car still wants to go faster. Before with the 373's it took longer to get up there.

**EDIT: these speeds were reached on a closed street with a professional driver, do not attempt**

lol :rlaugh:

you N/A?
It does get there quicker but then i shift to 5th and it kinda feels like a snail im gonna try and see if it does the same when i shift to 5th at 100mph

I ALWAYS shift into 5th at 120 MPH +...! Come on, guys, you make it sound as if you do this on a daily basis, and, if you are, it's only a matter of time before you total your car, kill yourself, kill someone else, lose your license, or all of the above.
I dunno, maybe I'm just gettin' old or somethin', but when I hit 100 MPH (on the street) my brain tells me to back off. Most of the time it doesn't take this long to beat 'em anyway.
I was messin' with another SN95 Gen2 last week on the way home from work. Admitedly, it was too busy to really race, but we we're having fun nonetheless - or so I thought. At about 80 MPH he yank the car across three lanes of traffic, nearly losing his rear bumper to a big box truck (he must have heard the AIR HORN!). From here he was able to get away from me ('cause I choose not to be so friggin stupid). I just backed off and waited for the wreck. Fortunately for him, myself, and everyone else on the road that day, he didn't hit anything/anybody or cause anyone else to wreck. But he was damn lucky. And he was a damn idiot.
