3.73 or 4.10s for an AOD?

410s are the best for an aod,if you want to run at the track you have got to try some southside (SSM) lower controls for the rear, you will come off the line like a bullet.m/t street tires help too or lower your air pressure to get hooked up better :flag:

I have 4.10's and a 3000 stall. Im also running 17/245 street tires. You will need at least drag radials because traction doesnt exist on my car when starting out. I have to slowly press my gas to the floor to get a decent launch. My 60 foot averages at 2.2 and I average a 5.25-5.55 reaction time. Gas really sucks because I drive mostly in town, I fill my tank up every three days. But its very responsive, shifts and gets into its powerband very very quickly. I recommend 4.10's also, you will be very happy.....

it all goes hand to hand 4.10's and a good converter are not worth anything but tire smoke if you dont have sticky tires and suspension work to put it to the ground. ive finally got my 60ft's in the 1.6's on my 12second passes, and let me tell you that feels awesome

I upgraded my lower and upper arms to Steeda aluminums, put my battery in the rear and put in a drag bar. Last night at the track I discovered that doing a quick burn in the box and easing into the gas helped alot. I dropped my 60 ft to 2.0. Im running ultra high performance street radials, when they heat up they get pretty sticky. Getting an airbag for the right rear spring this week so hopefully it helps......

I'd seriously rethink those tires. I know its expensive but with that short sidewall, you aren't getting a ton of traction with those. A 26X10.5 11X15 would really help you out on your launchs.

I agree with you a 100%. But I want to see how far I can go on street radials before I give up and decide to throw on some drag radials. If I ever max those out, Im gonna go with some nice slicks. I honestly want to see if its possible to break 11's on my current tires, wont know till I try!!
