Hey guys, I bought the 75mm bullet and 30#'rs I was just wanting to know if you thought they were too much.
-Stock Heads, Cam and Block
-GT40 Up/Lo w/6#powerdyne blower
-Free Exhaust
-Crane Ignition System

Also, is there a place to purchase a new sampling tube for the Pro M or maybe an easier way to recal it?

i wouldn't say they are too much as long as you have an AFPR. i've heard of people running 30lb'ers on mild combos with good luck. i'm just going by word of mouth though. i have no real experience on this subject.

i ran 30's on my car, h/c/i and nitrous. it absolutely hated them. it wouldn't idle right and it was rich as a pig. put the 24's in and presto! no more problems. as long as you have a good fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump (which you should have anyway), the 24's are the way to go. 70mm maf is plenty also, the 75 would be overkill. i'm still running a 65mm. :)

I was told to go with 36# injectors and i wouldn't need an FMU, so I did. this saturday the dyno will tell me how well the car is running. i got somethign like 180miles to almost a whole tank, which really sucks. It should improve a bit more after I dyno so I can see where my A/F ratio is, I hope....

I ran 30#'s with 303rwhp H/C/I set up, ran beautiful. Car idled perfect (thanx to fti cam) and got 24-26 mpg highway, and 17-20 around town :nice: I went with them because I was planning on adding nitrous. If you up the boost some you're good to go already.

I have a Procharger 9lb boost and 3 core intercooler. Stock block, heads and cam. Pro Prod's intake, 70 mm t/b and egr plate, BBK cai. Runnin 30#ers with a C&L 76mm mass air and a Kirban afpr. Runs great. Had it dyno tuned (no chip was needed) to get the a/f ratio where it needed to be using the afpr and the fmu. I would stay away from the 75mm pro-m though. I had one at first and the car ran like crap. I sent it back and went with the C&L and have had no problems with it. It is more versitile than the pro-m and you don't have to send it out for recal, just change the sampling tube and your ready to go. No down time either. :nice:

Holy crap, there's a lot of bad information in this thread. 30s will be absolutely fine for that setup. With a good mass air meter it'll run fine. You're always better off, especially in a boosted application, with injectors that are a little big instead of a little small.

The 75mm Pro-M isn't that great of a meter. Personally, I'd run an 80mm Pro-M. It's a far better meter than the Pro-M 75mm and the C&L.

Thanks alot for all the input guys. A little from everyone tells me I need 24# and a C&L mass. Im glad I didnt waste the time putting those injectors in.
You won't be wasting your time unless you put the 24's in. Go with the 30's you won't be sorry. As I said I'm runnin' close to the same set up with no problems at all. You can use the afpr and the fmu to compensate for the larger injector. Just because you put larger injectors doesn't mean they have to run at there maximum.:nice:

Hey come on now, I said they would be fine :p As far as meters go, personally I swapped from a 77mm pro-m to a 76mm C&L and fixed idle/lean conditions I had, just me though everyone has their own story. :rlaugh:

Don't get a C&L, I repeat: Don't get a C&L. I have a 76mm, and it is worthless. Pro-M is way better. If you are set on the 24's with C&L, I will sell you mine, I hate the C&L.
If your so dead set against a C&L, why is it still listed in your sig? It's funny how everyone has a different opinion when it comes the the C&L/Pro-m controversy. It's too bad both products are so inconsistant in the performance department. :notnice:
