Hey guys I'm running a 315/35/17 on a set of cobra R 17x10.5 rims. I'm having rubbing issues during hard cornering. I rub on both the fender lip and the inner wheel well. I have an Eiboch sport line kit on and I'm running a Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tire. Is anyone else having a rubbing issues with 315s and about a 2" drop. If not what tires are you running.

Those tires are fine on that rim, and the side walls are pretty stiff. Why do you think tire shops have problems installing them on the rims? Your main problem is stock bushings suck!!! Do the pan hard bar thing or install aftermarket upper and lower control arms. Makes a world of difference. Control the movement of that axle.

thats a REALLY wide tire for a 10.5 wheel... your tire is flexing like a beast when you turn and your not going to be able to make it stop unless you A. get smaller tires or B. raise the car a bit.

315's easily fit on that rim. I could fit 335's on my 10.5's no problem. My 315 Nitto 555R's were almost too small for my rim. A regular 315 street tire would fit perfect.
