OK........i have been going back and forth and etc about what motor to build up, i currently have what listed in my sig. And i have a un bored 302 sitting on a stand awaiting to get parts for it.......i WAS going to do a 347.......BUT many have mentioned why not switch to a 351, at the time i was like man i have all these other parts that will swap right over in this and that and blah blah blah............... WELL im at this party and this kid ( good friend of mine) says that his dad has a 351 windsor out of a 70 ranchero that has been sitting on a stand for allmost a year and that i can have it for 200 bucks!!!!!!
Its complete from carb to pan and he sasy it runs strong, just leaks ALOT of oil and needs a rebuild, so my ?'s are these..........What is neccesary to convert a 1970 coupe with a 302 into a 351 windsor, he said hes not sure about internals or anything like that, and what would be a good setup to make this thing a monster???
Im picking it up in two weeks (as this friday im blowing about half of my paycheck on a local stangnetters nitrous kit
and cant do it this week)
