351w sd to 5.0 a9l swap

Hello. Im converting the speed density 351 in my bronco to the a9l maf setup. I have the harness out of a car with the build date 7/89 and im just making sure im not wrong in purchasing the wiring schematics for an 89 fox instead of a 90 fox. Your input would be much appreciated!

July 89 is most likely a 90 model car.
That's my guess anyway.
I know for GM they retool at the end of June and produce the next year model in July.

Just curious why you didn't just use a MAF setup from a truck?

Is your truck auto or manual trans?
I am pretty sure the A9L is a 5 speed computer. I could be wrong.

The maf setup for a truck only comes in the 94-95 model year in obd1 and is very hard to find unharmed. Also the aftermarket and familiarity of the a9l and its tuning is very widespread and more available. My truck is an auto. But it is not electronically controlled. Its a c6 i believe. Only trucks that came with pushbutton od had the e4od so it should be fine.

I just ordered a 89 schematic. I think its a late 89. I was under the impression that the new model year was in august
