DMAN302 pretty much clarified what I meant. I agree with what everyone is saying, stop reading so much into the manufacture’s numbers. By your guys’ logic, you can have a 300 rwhp mustang with U/Ds, exhaust and CAI.

ok but this is the thing.... a friend of mine has a 2000 grand am GT....He swears its a race car lol. He had flowmasters, i had flowmasters, i took him by about two car lengths in a 1/4 mile. Then he removed his airbox and put a k&N in and SWORE he could beat me now lol.... And i now had all of the mods stated earlier.... I took him by about 9 car lengths in a 1/4 mile this time... and i have many witnesses... so there was obviously a lot of improvement

DAMN, he must have been a chitty driver cause the GRAND AM GT are freakin FAST

I have 3:55 sittin in my garage waitin to be installed... i wanna put in a converter and shift kit firs... any suggestions what i should get?? and some install help??

Oh and my chances are way higher than i thought.. he raced my friends 72 z28 auto and my friend burned him... like i said a kid with little 5 speed experience.. almost stalled the launch and the slowest shifting ive seen lol

oh and my response for stang2814... dont call me an idiot for wantin to learn more bout my car. The guy i bought my chip from said it made a huge difference... so if a guy wit a stang telles me that ima believe it.. The cold air was the very first mod i did when i knew absolutely nothing about 5.0s.. and im not sayin i have 400 hp... yea right i was thinking maybe 235-240hp at best... See im from northern california where everyone is into little hondas and acuras and that import **** so i have nobody to talk to bout these things
