.544 lift with AFR's

The AFR spring seat pressure is the same as the Edelbrock RPM's. We went through this discussion not long ago and there were huge arguments. Someone eventually checked Comp Cam's valve spring reccomendation for one of their XE line camshafts and it was almost exactly the same as the Edelbrock springs. Take that for whatever it's worth.

What they advertise and what they are can be two different things....check the springs.

The single springs are junk for any decent cam...

Sorry I don't mean to steal the thread, but I just ordered a set of AFR 185 and upgraded to the SD valves and 1.540" 145lbs on seat spring. Will this sufice for Comp XE274HR .555/.565-224/232? I thought this was a sensible upgrade.

Yes you should be fine, very good choice.
