Do you still have all your parts?

You might need to sleep with one eye open for a while when she really finds out. [emoji33]

lord willing she'll find out the extent when I drive him home the first time.

Honestly though fellas, I don't give a red rat's bunion hole in the end. I'm just about worn out with things that make her go hum.

I can appreciate a good marriage like I saw with @madmike1157 and Kate. It gives me hope for the rest of you bastards. Me, I'm bad luck and don't really mind being alone. I just want to see my kids once in awhile.

Bright side is I own an '83 t-top coupe that my wife knows about!

BTW, when you ask if I still have all my parts? Is this a Bobbit reference?

Yep!

I'm just messing with you. I do hope everything works out without too much trouble.

My problem.

The secret to having a car and a wife where everything works, and everybody remains happy is a "your's mine, and our's" kinda thingy for me. She has her own money, I have mine, and then there are the bills. We both chip in commensurately based on incomes. Hers is about twice mine, and therefore she carries the lion's share. It all works out that in the end, after everything is paid, we each have a like amount of money to dick around with. She doesn't ask me about the boxes that show up from Summit, and I don't ask about her spending. I take her to dinner when It's my turn, and she returns the favor the next time.
Because it's broken down based on income, she always has more of it at the end, so,..... She catches more.

It helps that she's a REALLLYYY nice person.

It all works out famously.

Mine is like that....only I pay the lions share. I don't ask about her money and she doesn't ask about mine either. Our bills are broken down by income.....and she knows that in a divorce or if I die she gets it all anyways.

I still think she's going to kill me and drive off into the sunset as soon as this car is driving.

Kona blue, as in the blue of the water off the Kona coast of the big Island. The water is really beautiful.

Truth.

You should come see it Dave....and when we are done looking at the water I can show you this cool paint booth they rent out over here ;)

Or, if you'd rather, you can come out here and get a gander at the most beautiful cornhusk yellow. Acres and acres of it, everywhere you look. Unlike anything they have in Hawaii, for sure. Even better, our patches of annoying blue stuff are a lot smaller, and are actually a less annoying blue-green hue. :rlaugh:

I want to give you flashy pictures of a painted door, but today was the last day of the pay period, soooooo.....

I will tell you though, I was doing a final blocking of the door between coats of paint on customers cars. Holy smoke, it's going to be beautiful!:nice: I wish I could impart the feeling of running a hand down the surface of this door and how smooth it is. I think I'll start sounding like a dirty old freak if I describe it even more. Robby and I are just friends.

I changed my method of finishing blocking on this panel. I decided to block with 320 first, tomorrow I will go over it with either 600 or 800, whichever I can get my hands on.

Normally I would just go over the 320 blocked panel with my da to knock down the 320 scratches. But it is blocking out so beautifully. I think I will block with the 600-800 so as to avoid using sealer.

I can see retaining my inner analness through the fenders and doors like this, maybe even the decklid, the hood might have me a little worried. It takes time to give this devotion to every panel. But, oooooooooooohhh! it'll be sweet.

I still hope to have it shot tomorrow. I just have a couple customer vehicles to paint, and they're both easy colors. So time might be on my side. Fact is, I hope to have the initial blocking of the left fender done tomorrow so I can reprimer it tomorrow for it's final blocking regime on Wednesday.

I didn't get a call from the media blasters today, so I should be expecting to get it tomorrow for the right fender and decklid. I'll post those pictures as soon as they are nekked too. I'm pretty eager to see how they are.
