Humff......
Leaving the old job has been.......a little problematic. Next wednesday is my last day there.
Not a problem with the boss or anything, he understands. Just the other paint shop employees. They are going through the 'Who's King Turd of Poop Hill' ritual.
It's a bit of a headache for me, we have a new painter with all of two years experience that thinks he's been given the Paint Gun of God. Maybe he hasn't really taken a good look at his finished work. He's an annoying little turd though.......for three more days. He's making life the worst, I'll survive.
Anyhow, I've been looking for 1.5"x2" steel tubing. No scrap in that size at all.
Two six foot sections will cost me a little over eighty dollars. I'm seriously considering waiting a couple weeks when I have a little money and buy the MM ones. Preshaped and all the auxiliaries for an extra seventy bucks.
I have to do some household chores today, maybe later I'll get back after Booger. I'll go back after smoothing the engine bay for the weekend.
Oh yeah, I got seam sealer for the floor pan area, but I left it at work yesterday. It's the same seam sealer I used redoing the doors. 3M 8308. It's pricey as hell, but free to me still.
I was supposed to go give my pee sample yesterday after work for the new job. It was 107 yesterday, and no matter how much water I drank, I wasn't able to produce enough for the sample. I'll give them all they could possibly want monday morning.

So here it is with me holding it up to Booger. I love this color.
