'88 GT 5.0 BUYER

Working on buying my first mustang gt hatchback tomorrow or friday. I wanted to get a loan for the car (because i'm a college student, it's easier on my wallet). This stang is absolutely spotless and has alot of aftermarket parts. After talking to some people at work and school, a loan might be hard to get. What do you guys think? The mustang is forsale at a local performance shop for $5,000 Thanks.

for that mileage 5k sounds pretty good. try and haggle, but that price is pretty low if everything on the car is solid. with a tag that low it prolly wont sit there too long.

PARTS

weld draglites, mickey t. et street tires(i think), ford racing 3.73 gears, short throw shifter, aluminum driveshaft, gt40 intake, f303 cam, mass air conversion. It does have some old ford motorsport gauge cluster that has a 160mph speedo. They also have a cobra wing, 4" cowl and some kinda lowering springs.

Sounds like a good deal. You can get the loan if you can get a cosignee or some collateral. Cosignee would help a lot on your interest rates though, if you know someone with good credit that would do it for ya. If not, the loan may be sort of hard if you have no credit.

apply for a signature line of credit, personal and auto loans have a high intrest rate.. a signature line of credit is easyer on a collage student!.. better rate and you can use the money you pay back... (example) 5k loan, 2 years down the road you have 2500 paid back and somthing come up.. lose your job gotta but new books... you can take from your loan and use it towards anything i got a signature loan for 6k and only used 5k for the car.. my credit score is also 724 tho.. my bank love's me! try it out tho! its the best thing to do!
