They're called snap-ring pliers. You need a set that is reversible.The sell just the ac clutch repair kit. It's not hard to do. It also keeps you from having to release all the freon. There is a special tool that is cheap to help get clutch off.

Find the test port under the drivers side under hood, that wire may run to the test fb plug.

Remove the pump from the bracket so that you can get to it without having to remove any portion of the cooling system.
