Speed density, only availble in 87 and 88 fox 5.0s, is NOT what you want- when you starting modding an 87 or 88, you convert to MASS AIR. No one converts TO speed density. Tell you what, go through a set of heads, a cam, and an intake on a speed density car and report back.
But thats neither here nor there and has nothing to do with 94-95 cars. Like I said, you are VERY confused here...what the article DID say was that the 94-95 specific ECU does not accept bolt-on modifications. Which is total BS, which you'd know if you had real world experience with these cars like myself and most others here in this forum.
My own 95 GT has a bunch of bolt-ons, has gone 13.3 and 106 MPH, and likely will go high 12s this year on the stock ECU with the stock tune...
Yeah, the A9L in the 89-93 foxes is easy to tune with, but you won't hit issues with the 94-95 computer until you either put a radical cam in or run big injectors...neither of which this guy said he planned on doing.
Therefore, he doesn't need "The computer custom tuned ".
Do a search of this forum regarding that POS article. There's plenty of info here.

Hey buddy i never said it was speed density.. what i did say was it took mods worse then a speed density would also do you know what combo ram is thinking about putting in his car????? No you dont i infact do... Ive helped him with his car nor am i shooting off any misleading info here.. He is planning on putting the enginge from his 83 into a Sn-95.. His motor which has a frpp b-cam, 24lph injectors, Gt40p heads with a competition valve job, gear drive,longtubes and an explorer intake along with a bigger throttle body.. Thats what he is planning on doing..
And your also saying that the magazine and the other books i have are wrong even though theese people get paid for a living doing this stuff and what not.. I guess your right...
Oh BTW you can change the cam and heads on a speedensity car without running into problems you just have a limited choice. I belive Underpressure GT's car was speeddensity and supercharged at the same time..
Inconclusion keep running your mouth about something you know nothing about being Rams car. If you read his other post in this same thread he said he was taking the engine out of his fox and putting it in this car..
