It’s a pioneer head unit, just a few months oldOriginal radio? May just be on its last legs.
I would double check the wiring. If all looks well and you never had a similar issue with the original radio, it's likely another aftermarket unit going bad on you. It’s a pioneer head unit, just a few months old
I might even throw back on my stock head unit for a while and see if the issue persists. The wiring harness was from crutchfield and I couldn’t find any defects. If the Mach head unit doesn’t have this issue I’ll have to deal with them again for another unit.I would double check the wiring. The automotive sound system aftermarket is almost dead at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make 'em like they used to.More chinee crap??
The quality really isn’t there. I’ve been tempted to ditch it and do the double din conversion but I want the option to easily throw back in the stock stuffThe automotive sound system aftermarket is almost dead at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make 'em like they used to.
I pushed it all the way in and started the car, no more of the screeching noise. I am sure it will walk itself back out but I will test that a couple more times to verify that is the issue and then go ahead and replace if need be. I think the auto parts store has a puller for these pullies. The PS pulley is not supposed to have that kind of play. I do not remember hearing about a self aligning pulley system.
