96-98GT Vortech Numbers?

How much power does a 96-98GT put down with say 8-9psi and exhaust? Just wondering, someone told me at school today this guy wants to race me. Just wondering what kind of chance I have, he will be on Saleen wheels and I dont know what kind of tires. Hopefully I can be on Drag Radials, and thats if he wants to go from a stop. So what do you think?

My mods:
stock 5.0 engine
full exhaust
SC-trim(6psi )
70mmTB&Spacer
3.55 gear
and hopefully DR's on welds

Any guesses?

I'm going to say about 275rwhp as Vortech used to put on their website. (Assuming he has stock heads.)

I'm sure he does, it was silent as I just saw it last night. I will try to get it on video, I hope he will do it at the track but he probably wont. So I dont know what to do.........

Ok, makes more sense now. I guess #42 injectors and matching MAF is in my future for a nice Christmas present.

Im leaning more towards him if he has inj/maf/tune. If not its a drivers race, what do you consider exhaust? a mid pipe and longtubes tend to wake a blower car up so if he has those its all over with.

Borla catback. He still runs the FMU. I'm pretty sure its just a stock S-trim kit and a catback on his car. We will see though.
