will this work? my exhaust is banging on my crossmember. i noticed on an underside pic of JonJon's car that the crossmember on the newer GTs were much smaller, and not as wide as mine. could it be possible? this rattle is driving me crazy. thanks!

it should, all the alignment is the same, even if it they are smaller than the 96-98's. when did it start banging?

it started banging ever since the catted x pipe. it only clears by about 1/4" and i cant bend it down anymore (the clamp by the manifold wont let me). my friend mike already grinded part of it down some, but it still rattles when i get under load in low gears.

can you post the pic of what you are talking about? i had a crossmember on mine but pulled it off when i had my subs welded in
