Old pop and spatter was trying to give me trouble at first but after a few choice words it decided to make some pretty nice plug welds . I used my spot welder in the water channel in the lower window panel.

It should turn out really nice if i dont have trouble with the trunk lid ,seems they are about 1/8 inch longer from front to back and it causes a problem with the end caps ,i have to trim the front lip of the trunk lid and reweld ,and it takes a while trying not to warp it but we will see tomorrow

Actual spot welder ,its a harbor freight but it works pretty good ,you have to hold the trigger a bit longer for 18 gauge
