No ,the 220 version ,that one is not powerful enough . Always make sure the tips are snug or it will not weld ,but they strip out very easy

Thought i would finish up today but my Expedition had other ideas ,thing eats coils like candy so i spent the day replacing all eight ,not fun with the AC ,last two coils are covered up by part of the AC unit and several heater hoses but saturday for sure

i want to thank jim for doing this conversion for me.i know he was very busy with other work,but still got it done fast.very pleased overall for how it came out.i couldnt touch another rust free fast back for what i have in the car.plus it has work done that i didnt want to redo.if you are thinking about doing this,just know that there is more to it than the conversion.many other parts needed to complete.but thats just part of the deal.

not yet,i bought a new main hoop from comp engineering,so i think it is the same that was in it.needed to be moved forward a couple inches,gonna be fun notching the tubes again in the car!

maybe i missed it, but did you clean up the surface rust on the rear inner wheel wells? what was he method and products of choice?

They actually were not rusted ,still had brown over sprayed primer over some type of a factory grey primer, just sand and primer ,it was in very good condition

I normally would sand blast and prime but this one didnt need blasting
