the stock cam probably wont get you there unless...

but you should retard your stock cam 4 degrees and you better run 1.7 rockers
that will help

and mill the heads for compression (guessing these are 58ccs), you could get pretty close if all the moons align

edit: damnit joe beat me to it

this is probably close to the set up i would like to be running in a year or two, ported cobra or gt-40 intake, afr 165's, mild cam and i already have o/r h, so i'd probably stay with shorties, but this is a little while down the road now, i got hit by some drunk kid in my campus parking lot and he ran(typical UMASS for ya), so thats gonna be a few bucks, plus my t-5 swap, and gears, and s/f connectors take precident along with wheels for now...... thanks for everything though, grady, if you want to PM some of those screen shots when you get a chance, that would be great, I'm always up for learning something new, and the tweecer is really something im pretty clueless about...i hate being so ignorent about some parts about our cars, thanks, Kyle (correction): you said it was on your site, ill check them out now...

I was puzzled at the email notification and it took me a while to ...............

get my HEAD into this Thread due to it being from the Dead

Sorry Kyle .............................
sometimes that stuff just shows up and from where I don't know.

I relate about wanting to do all that stuff with only about half the money you know its really gonna take to do it.

If I was you, I'd do what ever it takes to run LT's as the low to mid range torque gain is, IMHO, worth it.

Just FYI. I've got the "B" cam. Makes excellent power and my idle sounds awesome with no major problems. I don't even have a tune yet either.

I got the tweecer first, and then started modding. I too, wanted to understand it before I got the expensive parts.
Oh, I just passed the California smog 2 weeks ago. WAY clean.
