Anybody have aftermarket (custom) floor mats in their '05-'06? I told the dealer to leave my factory mats in the baggie, so I need some mats. I have the Ford Racing mats now, and they are crap. They are barely bigger than the heapie-cheapie Kmart mats I put in temporarily. I want to get some that cover the ENTIRE floorboard area, not just a small part of it like the FR mats.

Floor Mats

I bought some black ones with the pony color logo from GPI Mustang. He sells them as a set of two or with the rears.

I like them around $50.00 as I recall.... The factory mats were very cheap and are in my trunk...

Got mine from http://www.ggbailey.com/escalate/st...ate_id=ggbailey&pls1source_id=GOGGB&WT.srch=1
Excellent quality and very plush.

MIne also came from Ford, I have carpeted and vinyl versions (for winter) the rears cover all you would want. The fronts are rectangular and do not go out to the door which leaves a lot of floor not covered. Prior floor mats (before 2005) covered the entire front floors. I don't know why Ford made them smaller, but they are indeed smaller.

The mats that come with the car are front only. You cannot buy the rears alone. That's been true for years. It's stupid and sucks, but it's the way it is.
No, I ordered carpet and vinyl mats for my Mustang. They come in a front and rear set.
You cannot buy just the fronts or just the rears. But Ford gives you only the fronts with the car. I would rather they give me nothing.
My parts manager has long told me that people get more upset over the way Ford does floor mats than anything else.
Beats the heck out of it, but it's the way Ford does it.
