hmmm I would have thought better numbers than that. A friend of mine has an 02 gt stock motor pushin 470rwhp I know its a 4.6 but I was hoping to be close to that with all I have done to mine. So is a centrifugal a better choice or is the kenne bell the way to go even with lower numbers. I know there is no lag with a kenne bell but there is with a centrifugal. And what about this heat issue do they really make the car run hot?
Centrif makes more power up top. If you make NA power at 5400-5500 KB is an AWESOME street blower...It comes on early and gives massive torque.
If you have a motor that likes to spin above 6k the centrif is the way to go. Centrifs make better PEAK power. The KB will have a BIG FAT Flat torque curve which makes them great on the street. 420 Tq at the wheels is no joke...and thats above 400 ftpds over a 3000 rpm range.
Anything above 15.5k RPM Blower speed and the KB is done...blows hot air. I was over spinning my blower at 5800 pullied for 15-17# on my 331...hence my switch to a YSI.
I did run 12.1 at almost 116 with the KB on my old 302 combo...its making power.
I dont know about a spacer clearing the stock regulator...that brings a special set of problems as I found out. I had to configure a custom front snout mount for my 1/2 spacer ...used to clear the Valve covers...to clear the rockers on the Victor Jr's and clear the billet fuel rails.

I like mustangs better anyways becasue our cars make good power with all that old technology.
