Just picked up another conversion .Its a pretty clean 68 coupe that will be converted to a fast back with the help of all new Dynacorn sheet metal .this will be finished out as a 68 Shelby fast back

Hood ,trunklid ,end caps and rear valance removed. It will be placed on stands and leveled front to back and side to side before any panel removal. The doors will be left in place and adjusted to the very best fit before any panel removal ,the new quarters will then be fit to the doors

Sheet metal is ordered,but the trap door seat divider is on back order and it is one of the first pieces that had to go in . The rest of the conversion metal is in stock and should be here the middle of next week

Got everything except the rear seat area and the rear roof brace ,they are back ordered. This is a lot of pieces and going to be a lot of fun

This one probably will not be built ,for some reason this guy thinks i will put out all the money for the parts and do the work with him putting nothing up front, AINT GONA HAPPEN ! What the crap has happened with people lately ? I was stupid enough to buy the sheet metal ,stupid ,stupid ,stupid ! Now i am stuck with the sheet metal ,money out of my pocket i didnt really have to spend . I think i have had just about enough ...rant over

Well ,it looks like it pays to get pizzed. I gotta tell you ,after getting screwed as much as i have in the last couple of years you would get pizzed also .people have to learn that the money for these parts has to come from some where and i cant buy them for them .
So ,its on again but i may be getting pissed again around pay up at the end time haha!

Yeah if he doesn't want to pay up front then he likely will drag his feet paying up when your done with it. Then you'll be stuck with a car that you can't sell and will have to store until he pays.

There seems to be a new batch of people out that want ,but dont want to pay ,i am learning to spot them .it is getting pretty sad for the hobby because everything takes money and if they cant afford it they shouldnt even start . I used to love to build these cars but now ,i may have had enough . Dont know how much longer i will do for other people ,but i will probably build for my self because i love to work on them so this may be my last conversion .

I took the roof and the back seat area out today . Still have to trim the upper windshield area.soon as it is trimmed out it will get set on stands ,leveled and squared

I trimmed off a little more metal today . The tail panel will stay ,it is the same as a fast back and this one is in great shape . I still have a few hundred spot welds to drill around the edges to remove the leftover scraps.
