Now that i see everything fits the way it should i took it back apart . It is time to finish the inside of the rear door post,i pre punched plug weld holes ,clamped the inner post and welded it

Now i am ready for the back seat panel ,i still have to get my black fastback off the lift for measurements

The door frame is next ,lots of clamps and measuring ,once i was happy ,i welded it up . The welder was working the best i think it ever has ,will not be much grinding to smooth off the plug welds.

the skeleton is done ,the rain gutter is next ,then the quarters and last ,the roof

The back strip under the window also has to go in at the same time as the quarters

I used my spot welder to attach the roof to the drip rails ,almost impossible to grind in there

Not a dent in it ,that is because my welder was working perfectle ...and i wasnt pizzed off haha. A little grinding inside still and finish up the bottoms of the quarters and the body is done

Tail panel and end caps bolted on ,i missplaced the trunk latch so my spot welder is holding down the Dynacorn trunk hinges . I tiny bit of gap work between the tail panel and the trunk lid so they dont hit when they are closed and it is good to go

You do impressive work-I’ve seen a couple of your other fastback projects,do you ever take them to completion? Or is the body conversion your main business?

Time for the upper scoops . The mounting studs are in place ,i ad a nut and a washer ,these will be inbetween the body and the scoop ,once i snug down the mounting nuts i tighten the inside nut and washer ,these things are solidi did need to slot the holes slightly in the body with a round file ,Shelby just drilled these holes out bigger with the scoops in place i tighten the mounting nuts good and snug ,then i reach inside and tighten the inner nut ,you could pull the car from the scoops they are so solid
