I have left my stock throttle body on my cobra since i bought it 4 years ago because I felt no need to change it. I have done only a few small mods but now my old throttle body looks out of place in my nice and clean engine bay. I've been thinking of changing it out mainly for cosmetic reasons. Does anybody know the size of the opening and elbow for a cobra intake?? Which size do yall think will be most beneficial??? I don't have any intention of changing out the heads or forced induction anytime soon.

Sometimes I'm all about cheap....Just clean it up some...Removing it would be easiest but it can be done in place...
Take some anti-seize and wipe it down, use small rags and wear rubber gloves....It'll restore it to damn near new...

Here's one I did..you can see the difference..

Same deal on the EGR...look at the tube compared to the valve, they started out looking the same...Cheap, simple and it works..

Not really...you have to be mindful its on there, but it does dry pretty quick...I use those flux brushes and long Q-Tips to apply it and get things covered/cleaned...then small 4" pcs of towel rags to rub/wipe it in....getting the excess off...Your sorta waxxing it, wax on/wax off to color...
Better yet WD40 cap, throw some anti in there.....spray a few shots of WD40 to thin it out, mix it up...It works sweet and covers like crazy with a nice Alum finish...All your stank bolt heads, nuts, brackets, master cylinder...it brings everything back to lookin new...I use the chit all the time...Keeps the stuff from oxidizing/rusting to...
I was bored on night and decided to clean my tranny...notice the dif between the bellhousing and the tranny...

I even did my alternator...2 seasons ago...So to me the stuff is a cheap detailing trick when your bored/ broke or looking for something to do....just wear gloves when doing stuff up....

Hey Speedster, do u have any problems with the professional products throttle body??? I heard from a few that the quality is bad and they tend to get stuck. Anybody have an opinion on which size 65 or 70mm, would work best with my setup???

I have the PP 75, and am happy with it. No issues, except the EGR gasket was wrong. VERY cool is the TPS adjuster. Can damn near turn the TPS a quarter turn.

No, not true. I've never even heard it. IT needs to be below 1.00, or it signals the computer that it is part throttle, and puts it in different tables.
Mine is at .985 (So easy with the Tweecer R/T)...

That's what a bunch of guys on here told me a few days ago. Perhaps they'd like to chime in again?

stickimg problem is because your blade is not open enough. go turn the set screw a tiny bit and it wont stick anymore.
