I've noticed over the last few weeks fewer and fewer new threads and fewer and fewer responses to threads.
Where is everyone?
Aren't the folks who visit this site still interested in our beloved Mustangs. Where is the advice, comments, etc.
I posted a thread two days ago about a new UPR product. No responses. I've seen many threads such as gas mileage that haven't had responses for weeks.
Am I missing something?

I personally haven't been very active. But it is mostly due to buying an Audi A4. I couldn't get any dealers to budge on price. And I wanted something a little larger in the interior. Of course I still have the mustang. And will eventually buy an S197 stang. But for now. I shop for Audi parts.

Go to message #21 on the "picked up my vista today, also Ford chose my car to beat on" thread, and you'll see the type of attitude that I'm sure runs off a lot of potential posters.

I luv mustangs, but sometimes I think of other cars.... *sigh* It's a weakness of mine. Mitsubishi offers a year of free gas, well within certain guidlines of course. I'm thinking, sheesh, if I get this car(2005 Eclipse), I'd surely be banned from my favorite forums of course! Yikes! I don't dare even mention this! I don't mean to pull anyone's chain...I love sportscars..in all their different shapes and sizes!

There is a handy-dandy tool called "report post". When you see this type of crap, instead of getting your wookie all bent out of shape, press this button and report it to the mods/admins.

You all preach so damned much about the search button but fail to locate the report post button.

Speaking of bad posts......

I think activity will pick up again come Holiday time, when more people have time to take part in activities aside from the everyday grind. Plus, many owners are high school and college students; thus, their limited time to post during the day as when they did this summer. My nickel minus three pennies.

I view the boards daily, I just dont have much to say. As a V6 owner about all I can do is appearance mods and one of the two crappy catbacks that is currently offered. Those topics have been beat to death, so I hang out and watch.

Less active for a bunch of reasons:

Little news about S197 Mustang and there won't be until the next SE is announced.

Most of the threads are the same old s...
Which muffler?
What gears?
What body kit?
What's your gas mileage?
etc.

Plus been busy with my business and gettin in as much outdoor activities before the weather turns bad.

Probably spend more time here during the winter when I'm trapped indoors and bored.

First of all, champ, I've never preached about the search button. Secondly, not only have I never noticed a "report post" tool, but personally I don't really care. I was merely making an observation that addressed the question originally posted in this thread.

You people need real postwhoring skills. As of right now....you don't have any. Hence, this forum....not so good. But the upside is that you can improve it.

one reason is that everyone posts a lot while waiting for their new stang, and then when they get it they quit posting as much.

As for myself I tried to switch from wk e-mail to home e-mail and it has been a hassle to get back on. Now when I try to post a reply I have to completely log back in. Any help moderators?

Well...

First of all, My name isn't champ, tylers65 Profile

I never suggested that you personally complained about the search function. It was a general statement to those on this board that are complaining.

Second of all the report post feature looks much like this
And I banned that f-tard for his comments.

Ok, but when you quoted my message before making your comments, it made it seem like a personal attack. Ergo, I respond.

In response to the OP, I too have noticed the same things. Mostly as others have mentioned, too much of the same things and not much desire on my part to go at it all over again. Also noticed a lot of the same attitudes that go flinging around (not to mention in this thread and no one specific) that make people feel unwanted here. I guess you do have to take the good with the bad... I guess I'll just hang back and see what comes around, quiet little me....

I hadn't even noticed that feature. Shows how little I show attention!

I'm on daily yet I post much less often now. Stangs getting ready for the winter storage garage and my yearly stang money's spent. More than one of us is pretty low key while the stangs in storage and other parts of life take priority.

My next buys are all winter storage gear and snow tires for the truck = Boring!!!!

There also seems to be not as many new parts coming out for the stang recently.
