I have over revved many engines, including ls1's... They don't just "run completely perfect" then "die when they go 500rpm over redline"

Hell, I have a stock 4.6 motor that has seen 9K several times. Still runs.

The average car is about 17ft long. You were 5 car lengths ahead. Thats 85 feet. In a 1/4 mile drag race, that would be about a 3 second lead. That would mean your car is a solid 12sec car.
You have 3 gears, a narrow RPM range, and only 250RWHP/340RWTQ

I have a stock motor'd/stock turbo'd 1990 FWD eclipse (2.0L) That makes 225WHP... And I know that I could SPANK your car all day with it.

If your such a smart guy, and are just tired of us not believing you... Take a damn video of your car being fast. Or how about a picture of your '96 with the 5.4 in it? I can stick an internet image in my avatar all day long.

Hell, I'll go telling everyone I have a Powerstroke conversion. 350RWHP/25,000RWTQ. Eat that.

Looks like you edited your post just a little too late Bill, I called that second number on the list before you edited it and got a hold of Ed's mom, then she gave me Ed's cell phone number.

He told me you guys pulled a couple of times and he walked you every time. Then he said you started playing ricer games with him and you would wait until he was trapped behind a car then he said you would floor it and swerve around traffic. Then he said he manually downshifted into to low a gear and over revved his motor.

He wasn't too happy about you lying about beating him.

but you have to admit the story seems a little far fetched.. plus you did not help yourself by embellishing it

BTW if you post a pic of that 5.4 under the hood of you car that might shut some people up...
