What i am looking at is the fact that the Capri has 10grand worth of parts on it and will do 11s. The lx is bone stock except suspension. It is in better than average shape and runs 14s. It will take 3-4 grand to make it run with the capri. Or I can purdy up the capri for about 3000 and still have less money in it. Thats why the decision is so hard for me.

capri, i never see those cars around here and i mean NEVER, and its got more money into it. i would say the lx if you wanted an lx to keep as close to stock as possible and not mess around with it, but if you're after 1/4 mile times and a fast car the capri would be best.

TTOP failed to mention that he is a master fabricator and our family has a complete automotive restoration shop. We can make the capri a show car over the winter with ease. As for the lx, he wasnt impressed with it and wont admit it. The whole "budget" thing is a short term thing. Once the wife goes back to work he has plenty of disposable income. I also will help this decision, IM BUYING THE LX!!! Then the homo can drive either the lx or the capri!! Mostly because I fully intend on flogging the Capri like I use to!!So i will be more than happy to let him drive the slow lx when he wants

where are the pics at? i say LX because no matter how much i try, i can't bring myself to say that i like the looks of the capri's. they're just soo damn ugly! don't get me wrong, i've seen some REALLY nice/bada$$ one's, but that takes up about 5% of the capri's i've EVER seen.

Funny, at my job I recieved a company-wide email this morning stating that more websites had been blocked. Stangnet was the first site I checked. Most of the people here wouldn't be caught dead on Stangnet. I suppose that helps keep it below the traffic radar. lol I can't view the pics either. Can't vote until I see them.

Looks like the LX is winning. I can't say I am broken hearted. I really dig that car. I will be over my budget by the end of the first day of ownership. If im goin to own a aod car it will have 300hp to the wheels or it will bore me.

capri man, it dosent matter if the lx is nicer, every fox can look good, id get the capri back, that way you have a nice fun car to work with other than a nice/slow as hell ride, id rather have a faster car any day of the week, and leroy says you can do some welding and metal work so it shouldnt be a problem for ya!!
