BFG DR's: 26" or 28" for my combo?

well, beyong the issue of trap RPM, I think my main focus now is that I do need a pair of racing tires, and I can get the BFG's for a smokin' deal, so now tire width is my only remaining question, which will be determined when I get the wheels today and see exactly what size they are.
I am sure that my stock tach is inaccurate, but I am also sure that I need some sticky tires if I'm ever going to dip below the 14's, so I now need to know what size wheel I have before I make my decision!

Keep in mind - you don't know if you even have an "issue of trap RPM" unless/until you get an accurate tach. It's not uncommon to see people indicate 7000 rpm on the stock tach without having tripped the factory rev limiter - which the ecu controls at 6250 rpm. So your 6000 rpm readings could easily be as low as 5000 ACTUAL rpm....

235 60 will be better than what you have, and they will fit on lowered car.

heres a pic of mine lowered 1 3/4 inch with 28" 275/60 LOTS OF HAMMER WORK FOR THES TIRES
