anyone ever attempted this with a 2.3 turbo??? i know that its been done ive seen it on youtube so i know it can be done. Only reason i ask is because if you went with a carb you eliminate the vam and all the other b.s., wouldnt you?? but how much b.s. is it to set it up with a carb and is it worth it?? i have access to many things , i work at citizens machine shop in highlandsprings va its just me and the bossman anyways he used to build 2.3's and send them home to ecuador and they would run them in rally cars, he had a pinto the would run low mid14's-mid15's all the time but he said it wasnt very streetable which is understandable lol he ran big valves, big cam, webber carbs and yadda yadda he has never done a 2.3 with a turbo

im gettin off track lol

we have ported a head, bigger valves, havent decided on a cam yet but when is stop and think about it im limited by the computer/vam setup i know i can only go so far with it is it more cost effective/ easy to do a carb setup or figure something out with the ecu??????

the short block is a stock crank, .020 trw forged pistons, a.r.p. rod bolts, high volume oil pump

i have a c3 that was just rebuilt form the ground up, have the paper work but i am on the look for a c4 with bell housing

8.8 with 3.73

its going to be a street car but drivin mayb 2 or 3 times a week i dunno just need some outside opinions i guess

i will try and get pics of the head up carlos does amazing work

SOunds okay to me. No different than any other turbo carbed car. Either find an OFFY 4bbl intake or modify a lower intake to take a 4bbl carb. Make sure it can withstand the pressure. I think they make turbo specific carbs too. You can always git rid of the VAM fror a better setup or run megasquirt.
