My car has been at the body shop for the past 3 weeks getting a whole new paint job. Well the car is suppose to be done this friday but the owner called me today and told me the spolier i got wont work with this car. I purchased a saleen style spolier from mustangs unlimited for a hatchback. He is telling me it is made for a car with no spoiler because it doesnt cover the existing wholes and he will not weld the wholes because he says it will warp the hatch. He insists that there are foxbodys out there that came with no spolier and to find one so he could use that hatch but correct me if im wrong there is no foxbody that came without a spolier? So basically is this guy yankin my chain or what? Sorry for the long post but thanks guys

well i no the convertibles and coupes didnt but thats not a hatch so i dont know what this guy is talking about but would welding the wholes really cause the hatch to warp or is he just lazy and doesnt want to put the time and effort into it considering he is telling me this two days before the car is suppose to be done?

We have a custom paint and performance shop here in Southern California that specializes in mustangs (see sig) and a Saleen wing is no big deal. You either fill the holes with filler, but welding would be better.

Hey man if you want give me the phone number to the body shop along with a name and I can talk to him and let him know whats up with that wing. They should not be performing body work two days before scheduled delivery.

well i called him back later today and told him he has no choice but to weld the holes and he said to me well when the holes pop i dont want to no anything... basicallly he just didnt want to put the labor into welding them i know he is really busy up there but thats a lame excuse but anyways hopefully friday i will have some nice new pics for yea thanks for the help
