boost limits on stock block

Now i have a new question motor is built and done right now its cr is 8.5:1 i was wondering if anyone has gone low compression n/a i want to eventually put a turbo on it but don't have the money in the immediate moments so i look at and think of just putting headers on i know the power wont be there but was wondering if it will affect motor function by going that low at n/a

I ran around on my 327 quite awhile before finally working toward the turbo. It comes in at around 9:1 after figuring the head gasket. No problems and actually put down just over 310 to the rear wheels on a nitrous cam.

Not that it makes a difference i was just talking about it being ok and all now the question would be what injectors? I was thinking with the turbo to be at 60# at least thats what the guys at jpc told me so at n/a would 42# be ok? Or could i use the 60s and be at 50% duty cycle?

60's would be fine it just needs to be tuned correctly. I have 160's in my car and it idled at 1% duty cycle with no problems. Buy objectors once, take it from the guy who has bought almost every size they make. Lol

Yeah well right now all motor it was dynoing the motor at 410hp
410hp with those mods!?!

I will plan on dropping it to 9:1 or does anyone think lower would be better? I mean I know tuning is key afterwards my setup now is stock bottom end eagle h beam rods probe 10:1 forged pistons custom lunati cam which im gonna change out to either a crane or comp cam edelbrocj performer heads 1.6 roller rockers forged pushrods hollee systemax upper and lower 70 tb with a 74crane it'd 75 maf I can't remember off top of my head

310hp I would believe....but 410hp!?! Something is amiss?

Yeah my combo has beeb shanged since chit january lol but now its a 347 with-22 dish pistons edelbrock heads with a 3 angle valve job tfs stage one cam scat rotating assembly as well as rods. Holley upper and lower but the numbers were with a 650 carbuerator on it so with the holley it may be a little different but i did dyno at 391 hp with 396 tq
